In January 2003, Mr. Saler launched what quickly became a thriving mediation practice. He has always enjoyed the luxury of being an independent, full-time provider of mediation services. As a mediator, he draws on his considerable, prior legal experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, product liability, employment, professional liability, insurance and business litigation matters. During his career as a neutral, he has mediated more than 3,500 civil cases and disputes. His track record is exceptional. Those who have used his services attribute his ability to consistently resolve matters to his legal analysis, evaluative skills and particularly his meticulous preparation and tenacious follow up.
Since mid-March 2020, Mr. Saler has mediated virtually all of his sessions remotely relying on the Zoom video platform. Because of the advent of Zoom, he mediates cases throughout California. When requested, he also holds in person sessions in his spacious Valley Village office suite. The building is adjacent to the 101 Freeway. There is free parking, Internet access and numerous other amenities.
Upon graduating from Columbia Law School in 1984, Mr. Saler ventured west. He joined Ervin, Cohen & Jessup in Beverly Hills, where he handled complex civil litigation. In 1991, he founded a Los Angeles branch office for a prominent New York City civil litigation firm. During the ensuing decade he served as its managing partner and lead trial counsel.
